NYC High Line

This 2001 study of New York City’s abandoned West Side Line predated the High Line transformation and documented the various configurations of the structure and its immediate environment as it extends from Manhattan’s Meat Packing District, up through Chelsea, and terminating at the West Side Yard. The photographs illustrate a deserted and almost post-apocalyptic natural pathway through the busy New York City streets below.
